Fall is in the air!

Fall is in the air and we have been trying to get into the spirit!  Sometimes challenging when it's 90+ degrees, but it's all in your attitude, right?!

Paigey and I have been visiting the pumpkin patch and have more trips planned!  I enjoy the photo ops and chances to try out my new camera, whereas Paige likes the kiddos and festivities!

She enjoyed the horse-drawn wagon ride, but we did get an extra bonus....the horses decided to take an off-road detour which scared everyone nearly to death, especially this Mama who is 35 weeks pregnant and holding her toddler in her lap.  Anyway, all's well that ends well!

Paige has yet to pick out a pumpkin to carve and enjoy, so we will be making one more trip to the pumpkin patch at least!

Day with "A"

What a beautiful  Phoenix day!  Paige was lucky enough to visit her friend A and play at his house!  Now we definitely know that she needs a water table for her birthday!

Oh yes, this is the face of a little girl that is having a fantastic time!

Paigey hasn't experienced grass since we were at Grandma and Grandpa's house last...oh she still loves it!

It was ridiculous trying to get all of the grass stain out of these pants, but I did it!  It was well worth it...she had a great day!

Loving Life!

My sweet Paige Rose has become mobile!!!  This happened about a week ago.  It's the cutest thing ever...she raises her hands really high (kind of like a cat with tape on its paws).  She isn't super fast yet, but she works on it every day.  That's a good thing for me because I can still walk after her and don't have to run just yet!

She loves the fact that she can get to where she wants to go and see the things that catch her eye!

Also, my sweet girl has found the love of bananas!  She didn't used to like them...but now she chomps them!!!

Such an amazing little girl!  Each day is a fun adventure!  I have to go, it's time to head out for our walk!!!!!.....

Day of Fun

We had our fair share of fun last weekend! It was one super quick trip to Phoenix, but we saw many of our friends! We started off with Grace's First birthday party!  Paigey wasn't too sure about the bounce house, or maybe it was the big kids inside that were scary!

She loved seeing her friend Caiden!  They are such good buddies and close in age!!!

After this party, we went to Trevor's Second birthday party!  This was our first time at Scottsdale Railroad Park, it's very neat!

It was so fun to ride the train!  The weather was gorgeous!

Andrea also arranged for everyone to ride the carousel...Paigey's first!!!  We really like it, but then it started moving up and down.  She wasn't as sure about that!  She didn't cry though!

We ended the day with a quick visit with our friends Harrison and Heather!  I tried Indian food, while Paigey tried some of Harrison's Lovely Lentils...a delicious recipe that his Mommy made for him!

After that, it was time to head back to Flagstaff!  SOOOOO many friends to see in one short day!  I didn't even mention that we went to Lululemon for Mommy, Trader Joes, and Whole Foods!  So busy!!!

Fun Filled Day

Iffy is the best word I could use to begin our day, but it turned out phenomenal!  Paige and I headed to our first Music Together class, fully expecting to be late, but we weren't.  Some of our new friends were there and we sang and danced to our hearts content!

Paigey can play the egg shaker like nobody's business!  We moved on to Trot Old Joe and then ended with a free jam!

Paigey is quite excited to listen to her new cd and memorize all of the songs!

So you're thinking...how could this day get any better?  Well....we went to play group straight from our music class.  We played with friends and chatted it up!  Nap time was approaching, so we had to head home.  I forgot to mention though, while at playgroup, we set up a walk date with the girls that live in our neighborhood!  It was a lovely 60 degree day in January, and we had a lovely walk with our friends Diane and Maggie.

Can you tell I had a good day?
